This is my 111th post! (I kind of missed the 100th one a few posts ago, so this one will have to suffice in the significance department.) I've really come to look forward to sharing some of the wonderful madness that is our lives with you all. Over the past few weeks, I've been hearing from people I never knew read my blog. While it is encouraging to know that something I've written resonates with people, it is a little strange not to even know you're reading! I've only got seven followers listed, but I know there are more of you out there. And yes, relatives count!
So, I'm issuing a challenge. And a reward. I want anyone who reads my blog to comment on this post. Even if you just say, "I read it." I am going to have a drawing for everyone who comments before
What are we winning, you ask? One of my new favorite things:

A little while ago, my friend Hope picked up some of this Coyote Pups Naturally Clean hand cleaner from their booth at the local market. I love it. It is like hand sanitizer without the chemicals, alcohol burn, or stink (although Hope says it smells like a hippie. It does smell like lavender and other essential oils, but I guess I rather enjoy smelling like a flower child! ) Here is how it is described on their website: For toddlers, children, and adults, this is an alcohol-free waterless hand cleaner. Aloe gel base with witch hazel and naturally antiseptic, anti-bacterial, and anti-viral essential oils.
It comes in a cute little 2 oz. spray bottle to fit in your purse, diaper bag, or the console of your car. There is also a pump option, but I haven't tried that yet. I know it isn't a giant prize, but it is my very first one. I've got to set the bar a little low to begin, right?
There is one more thing... I need to have at least 20 comments for the drawing to happen. So... ready, set, post!

I read your blog. Because you tell me to. But I don't want to win that crap. I want a video game or something useful!!!
No... seriously, for those of you our there reading the blog -- if you are not interested in that prize, I am sure that Em and I can find something else you might like (a nice Black Lab, anyone?), so don't let that keep you from commenting!!!
Of course I read every one of your posts. I do kinda stink at commenting sometimes though. You have a precious heart Emily!
If I win, can I have John's video game instead? I don't think Callen and I need that baby stuff...unless we could wash the dogs with it. Come to think of it, it would be nice if the dogs smelled like babies instead of wet dog.
Of course I read your blog....and Zac does, too (since I usually read them out loud to him). Your blogs are sweet, sincere, and make me look forward to motherhood.
And, if I win your drawing....I'll take Hannah's offer of a trip to the zoo. I think she really enjoyed her 1st trip with y'all! Love you all! :)
Hi Emily,
I am Callen's mom and I enjoy reading about your life. I especially like hearing about Hannah and Lydia. Hannah is now reading and Lydia is crawling! Your blog reminds me of when my two daughters were small and how precious the day to day stuff is. Enjoy every minute of it. Thank you and John for being such a sweet example for Callen and Zac.
Lucky me I was already a follower. So does this comment count 3 times? :) I'll post your giveaway on my blog too. :) I've thought about doing a giveaway before but haven't done it yet. Maybe I will soon. :)
Hey, I wanna win!!!
My daughter Ashlee, let me know about this giveaway. I think it's a Great Idea!!! and I'm all about, getting free stuff, and trying anything new. Love your background music.
I love your blog Emily! I love to try and keep in touch with everyone from Georgetown, even though we are all scattered across the US now!
I just want to let you know that I have seen parts of Toddlers and Tiaras. However I can't watch a whole show! I just found your blog. I look forward to reading some more.
Alicia
hey friend I read your blog.
I love you blog! :)
Hi friend, I read the blog. So excited to start following it.
Congrats on your first giveaway!
Hey...I read your blog! You are so faithful at writing, if I didn't have to do web stuff for work I would do more. Thanks, it helps me keep up with you and John.
i left a really funny comment that didn't show up. i am not going to retype it, i am simply going to say "i read your blog."
also i do not like smells, so unless they make your giveaway package in unscented, i do not want to win.
unless you can make the prize chocolate.
Hi there - I am commenting because I read :)
This may be weird but I started reading your blog about 6 months ago when Landon was born and I needed something to do while feeding him, now I love it and I try to check it regularly (even when I'm not feeding him.)
I've always thought of you as someone who had one of the biggest spiritual impacts on my life during my teen years. I remember watching you and Melody and realizing that your relationship with God was different than mine and I wanted to have a more personal relationship w/ him like you did. Its funny because I don't think either of you were intentionally trying to disciple us, it just happened through being friends and you being transparent about who you were and what God meant to you. It encouraged me to get serious about my relationship w/ God and now 14 years (wow we are old!) later I still am serious about my relationship w/ God. I know you and Melody were key spiritual influences in my life. As I'm writing this I'm thinking about how Darin and I do student ministry and how we are always encouraging our students to be disciple makers, but they get so scared because they think it means they have to lead a Bible study or something w/ their friends and really the most effective thing they can do is get serious about their own relationship w/ God and then let that spill out into way they live their life and when they invest in others by just being a good friend and being transparent about their relationship w/ God they will be some of the best disciple makers ever.
Wow! That was long, maybe I should start my own blog and that can be my first post! :) Back to your blog, I enjoy reading it because it helps me connect w/ one of the greatest friends I've been blessed to have in my life. Even though I don't get to see you very much you still challenge and encourage me through reading your blog. I know we don't agree on everything, but that is okay. We still agree on the most important thing (Jesus) and I'm sure many many other things! Love you!
I will try to figure out how to become an "official" follower!
Of course, I read your blog! How else can I keep up with my beautiful friend from 8 am freshman music theory and 8 am hymnology and Son team days? :-) It's great to be connected to so many wonderful mommies that are striving to be women who follow hard after their God and share that with their husbands, kiddos and all they encounter! What a blessing you are to so many, I am sure!
I forgot that you had a blog. Yes, I will follow! It's great!
I am leaving this comment for Brooke, who commented on another post last night in an attempt to enter the giveaway. She just got back from vacation, so we'll give her some grace ;)
