I love Christmas, but it's an exhausting combination of long to-do lists, hectic schedules, late nights, traveling and interrupted sleep. And when it is all over, you have lots of laundry to do, new toys to cram into the toys boxes, and loads of Christmas decorations to take down. And getting out of bed is so hard when it is colder & darker than ever.
The girls have both been taking looooong naps each afternoon and sleeping fitfully at night. And boy are they CRABBY! We're just now getting back into the routine and catching up on sleep.
Hubby went back to work this morning, and I know it was rough. He has meetings practically all day, and his Upward league starts practicing tonight.
And then there are the dogs...
well...
Yep. We're all a little worn out around here.

This is Callen's mom. The dog pic is hysterical. Just wanted you to know that I love your blog. It makes me laugh and it makes me think. It also makes me miss those days when my girls were young. Such sweet memories (and some just plain crazy). Reading your blog in some strange way keeps me a little bit closer to my sweet girl. I guess it is just knowing you and she are in the same city. I am so glad that she and her amazing husband have your family as an influence in their lives. I love hearing stories about big and little sister. They love your girls so much. OK so this has gone on way too long. Just wanted you to know how very much your blog means to me.
