Look closer...
Those are tiny little Crocus leaves, peeking out through the snow (and through the Dianthus that just never dies). Soon I'll be seeing tiny little splashes of yellow and purple to announce the arrival of warmer weather. Who needs Punxutawney Phil?
We've had our frozen fun, now bring on the Spring!
